Today's show is dedicated to KROQ radio legend Rodney Bingenheimer, who has been a HUGE influence on myself and a gazillion others. Back when KROQ was a trailblazing tour de force in the 80's, Bingenheimer was responsible for not only turning millions of SoCal kids onto the latest cool bands, but also igniting the careers of many a young band.
While he remains active at the station to this day, his show has been relegated to a late night Sunday time slot while KROQ continues to dismantle all that once made them great.
